Red River -Take business 21 toward Rock Hill. Turn left onto Cel-River Road just past the Celanese . The mill is on the right. Turn onto Lyndenboro in front of the mill and proceed with caution. The mill originally known as Carhartt Cotton Mill #2 was built in the early 20's by Hamilton Carhartt. He also built the mill houses on the hill behind this mill to resemble English cottages. |

To view the Carhartt Mill Houses, follow Lyndenboro Road. You will have to make a u-turn. These mill houses are unique; you will not find any like them in this area. |
